A strong interest in Hyundai Hydrogen Mobility solutions
The 250 m² booth attracted a continuous stream of professional and institutional visitors thanks to a comprehensive technological showcase reflecting real-world applications:
- The first Hyundai XCIENT Fuel Cell with a crane platform built for PUM, displayed at the entrance, alongside a second Hyundai XCIENT Fuel Cell truck with a tarp owned by Brétéché.
- A third vehicle on the stand, and notably: the first European hydrogen-powered garbage truck on a series chassis, developed with Faun Environnement, demonstrating concrete applications of technology in public services;
- And finally, the proprietary fuel cell from Hyundai Motor Group, the core of this clean and efficient hydrogen technology.
Enhanced communication that clarifies vision and ambitions
The press conference led by Charles Cambournac, General Manager for Germany and responsible for development in France, focused on the hydrogen strategy for heavy mobility and waste collection in Europe, achievements observed in current vehicles, and future prospects. It gathered partners, journalists, institutional representatives, and enthusiasts.
The message was clear: hydrogen is ready for widespread deployment, and Hyundai Hydrogen Mobility aims to play a leading role.
Charles Cambournac also participated in the panel discussion “Hydrogen: Building a strong European sector”, held on Wednesday, November 19, alongside key industry players. This intervention addressed industrial challenges, the importance of structuring the refueling network, and the need for ambitious European coordination to support hydrogen transport deployment.
A demonstration of technological maturity
With more than 150 production trucks delivered, 18 million kilometers traveled, and over 130 technicians trained in hydrogen technology in Europe, Hyundai Hydrogen Mobility continues to prove that this energy solution is not just a concept but a tested, viable reality.
Rapid refueling, extended range, high load capacity, and zero CO₂ emissions were at the heart of discussions at the booth and throughout the exhibition, reinforcing the relevance of the brand’s offer in a swiftly evolving regulatory context.
A first Solutrans opening new prospects
This participation marks a turning point for Hyundai Hydrogen Mobility in France and Europe. Numerous qualified contacts made during the exhibition confirm the interest of carriers and local authorities in a credible and operational energy transition.
The brand’s teams leave Solutrans 2025 with a clear signal: the sector is awaiting industrial, reliable, and ready-to-use hydrogen solutions. The brand is ready to deliver.
