Body solutions

The Hyundai XCIENT Fuel Cell can be equipped with a wide range of certified body solutions – for temperature-controlled transport, general freight and municipal operations. The body systems are developed by specialised partners and meet all requirements of hydrogen-powered mobility.

The certified refrigerated and dry case bodies can be tailored to individual customer needs. Both single-zone and dual-zone cooling systems are available.

Body configurations for deep-freeze transportare also available.

In this version, the hydrogen tanks are attached to the body behind the driver’s cab. This results in special requirements for the strength of the front wall of the body, which must be verified and tested by the body manufacturer. With GK Grünfelder in Switzerland, a body manufacturer was certified for the first trucks.

Since 2021, additional bodybuilders have been certified, making it possible to realise further configurations such as tarpaulin bodies and swap bodies.

The hook-lift truck features a Meiller hooklift system, based on the XCIENT Fuel Cell 6×2 chassis suitable for container lengths between 5.25 and 7.0 m.

The Hyundai Xcient FCEV, thanks to its maximum GCW of 28T (27T in some countries), can be equipped with a rear or side-loading waste compactor, from our partners Terberg HS and Faun Environement, with a payload of up to 9.8T and a maximum volume of up to 22m3, depending on the configuration.
It meets GSR2 and DIN1501 safety standards.
